Afternoon between colours

Because we had been doing sports and energy activities for many weeks, it was time for a more relaxed afternoon painting and coloring.

Our volunteers were in charge of drawing 4 large posters, very detailed and complex, with many lines and shapes, so that they let their imagination fly when coloring them.

First, we colored two of the posters with the smallest ones, to which we left temperas of various colors, to make it more fun and slimy, it is also easier for them to paint with this technique. For the group of the older ones we prepared two other similar posts, a little more complex and with more details in the drawings, so that they could put a large number of colors. They used markers, waxes and colors to color it, because as they are older they have better stroke management and more accurate.

Painting is really good for children, so we have attached great importance to this type of activity. Among the benefits of painting for children we find that it stimulates communication, and linguistic expression, creativity and abstract thinking, increases children's ability to concentrate and express themselves, and their sensitivity.

We were happy with the result of this activity, because the little ones actively participated, and even though some of the older ones were not very motivated, they finished it satisfactorily.
