Our volunteers from the "Volunteering 4 Change" project (V4C) of the "International Cooperation Initiatives" (IIC) organization continued to attend kindergarten visits as usual. Last February, we made our last visits before the virus.
Our first priority for kindergarten was to keep the interests of children alive and to have fun. From the moment we played the world famous Baby Shark song, we all had fun with all the children accompanying the song and acting like the song.

We knew that it was important for children to develop dance figures suitable for music and to accompany them with their voice and to recognize their voice. Thus, children developed their cognitive and psychomotor skills.
And of course we taught words in the second step to make them learn for their future. And we wanted them to learn simple English words. We used emoji cards for these words. Because we were sure that they would understand and learn better when they saw the status reports such as unhappy, happy, hungry, angry. First we showed the cards and repeated the words and asked the children to repeat. After passing the fun step where the sounds intermingled, we asked them to draw an emoji they wanted in the circle drawn on papers to catch permanent learning. The children uncovered their imagination as well as what they saw, and fun drawings came out of each other.
Although they are small, I must say that they are rivals to Picasso. Of course, I would like you to see my own success in this regard.
