During all this time, we have been teaching and practicing a large number of games in all the places we have gone, so that the children get rich knowing games from all over the world. Children have loved learning about traditional games from Spain, Italy, Portugal, among others.
Among the various games we have played we find the musical chairs game, a classic from Spain, which was very popular with young children. The game consists of putting several chairs in a circle, and the children dance around them to the sound of music, when they have to sit down, and there is always someone who is left without a chair, as children are eliminated, they They remove chairs, like this until there are two opponents. We have played this game on many occasions since they liked it a lot, and it is very fun and entertaining.
On the other hand, another of the most practiced games was "El pañuelo", which consists of dividing the children into two equal groups, and each one has a number. The person who has the handkerchief says a number, and whoever has that number has to run for the handkerchief, the team that picks it up first wins. It is a highly competitive game, but one that encourages teamwork, attention and concentration.
We have performed relay races with varied and fun tests, and many circuits, as well as skipping rope.
