At the request of the children of Eleshnitsa, who told us the first day that they liked dancing and dynamic activities, we organized a dance contest session. We divided the children into several equal groups, to which we left them free choice of music, and they had 20 minutes to prepare a dance and then share it with all of us. The volunteers were on the jury to make it more exciting, and we rated them from 5 to 10, as if it were a television show.
They were a little shy at first, and neither group wanted to start, but it didn't last long. When they gained confidence, they asked us for several opportunities to improve the dances and they did not want to stop.
The competition was very close, and the contestants made it very difficult for the jury.
We were pleasantly surprised by the result, as the children actively participated and tried to make the choreography great.
One of the groups prepared a choreography with electronic music, with very dynamic and acrobatic movements, the members of the group were very well engaged. Another group delighted us with a traditional Bulgarian dance.
The score was very tied, but a single point gave the victory to the older boys. Still, everyone was very happy with the scores and how entertaining the afternoon was.
