Christmas handcrafts

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, our volunteers organized several workshops to make decoration crafts, in all villages alike (Eleshnitsa, Gorno Draghlisthe and Bachevo).

With the group of the little ones we made decorative balls for the Christmas tree, to take advantage of materials that we had at home We use plastic and cardboard cups and toilet paper rolls, and thus recycle them.

We asked older children to bring glass jars of different sizes to make fun candle holders.

We asked older children to bring glass jars of different sizes to make fun candle holders. We carried colors of all kinds for them to choose and make free drawings, the result was incredible, and they were delighted with their creations.

On the other hand, we also made Christmas postcards, with different designs, such as: 3D trees, drawings with strings, gifts, among others. To liven up the afternoon and create a Christmas atmosphere we put music related to these dates, such as Christmas carols. The children were very excited about the crafts, and due to their interest and participation the result was fantastic. They each took their finished work at home and they were looking forward to showing up the crafts they had done.
