Clean up & Enjoy Sveta Katerina area!

On Friday, July 20th kids from Razlog community took part with the International Initiatives Connection team in an environmental-friendly atfternoon. After a 45-minutes’ walk through Razlog hills, we arrived at Sveta Katerina. We found a very dirty place full of plastic, cigarettes, glasses and other kind of rubbish.

Everyone participated in cleaning up this great place. Thanks to our positive energy to protect and save the nature, we managed to fill up several bags with garbage.

To prepare this activity, children drew on cardboards and wrote in English and in Bulgarian slogans such as “save the planet”, “Respect the nature” “We live on the same planet”. Their creations were then, hung up around Sveta Katerina area to awaken people’s consciousness about our action on keeping this place clean.

We then enjoyed altogether the place with a great picnic, a comfort after so much effort!
